Enunt:
Sa se demonstreze identitatea:
3000/(1+i) + 3000/(1+i)^2 + 3000/(1+i)^3 + 3000/(1+i)^4 + 3000/(1+i)^5 + 3000/(1+i)^6 + 3000/(1+i)^7 + 3000/(1+i)^8 + 1500/(1+i)^8 = 16.704,5

Rezolvare:

Aplicam formulele:
(a + b) ^ 2 = a ^ 2 + 2 * a * b + b ^ 2 si
i ^ 2 = -1


(1 + i) ^ 2 = 1 ^ 2 + 2 * 1 * i + i ^ 2 = 1 + 2i + (-1) = 2i

(1 + i) ^ 3 = (1 + i) * 2i = 2i + 2i^2 = 2i - 2

(1 + i) ^ 4 = [ (1 + i) ^ 2] ^ 2 = (2i) ^ 2 = 4 * i^2 = -4

Dupa ce calculam fiecare putere a lui (1 + i), aducem fiecare fractie la o forma cat mai simpla. Pentru aceasta, amplificam fractia cu conjugata numitorului, pentru a obtine un numitor de forma reala.

Exemple:
1 / 2i = i / 2i * i = i / (-2) = - i / 2
1/ (2 * i - 2) = (2 *i + 2) / [(2 *i + 2) * (2 *i - 2)] = (2 * i + 2)/ (4 * i^2 - 4) = (2 * i + 2) / (-8) = - (i + 1) / 4

Dupa ce am adus fiecare fractie la o forma cat mai simpla, aducem toate fractiile la acelasi numitor si efectuam adunarile, scaderile si inmultirile.

Am aplicat formulele si am ajuns la urmatoare solutie: i=0,1693
Insa solutia problemei este 0,10.

Enuntul ne cere sa demonstram o identitate, nu sa rezolvam o ecuatie. O identitate, conduce la ceva de forma 0 = 0, pe cand o ecuatie conduce la ceva de forma x = 7.

Ecuatiile au obligatoriu una sau mai multe necunoscute care trebuie aflate. In cazul nostru, nu avem nicio necunoscuta.

Se poate sa fi gresit la vreun calcul - in mod normal, trebuia sa se reduca toti termenii in i, precum si toti termenii fara i, si sa obtii 0 = 0.

Daca solutia problemei este 0,10 inseamna ca din enuntul dat lipseste ceva. In enuntul dat nu apare nicio necunoscuta care trebuie aflata.
