Enunt:
Se dau numerele 12, 18 si 24. Care este cel mai mic numar, diferit de 1, care sa le imparta exact?
Dar cel mai mare?

Rezolvare:
Numarul a care imparte exact alt numar b se numeste divizor al lui b.
Reformulam problema:
- Care este cel mai mic divizor comun al celor 3 numere?
- Care este cel mai mare divizor comun al celor 3 numere?

Se descompun numerele in factori.

Cel mai mic divizor comun = cel mai mic dintre factorii comuni, la puterea 1.
Cel mai mare divizor comun = factorii comuni, la puterea cea mai mica.
